Hello

Good Morning,  I am back with another card that I entered into a challenge at Turtle Soup , I had a lot of fun making this card.  I definitely want to do more of this.

Hello

My northern lights card,  with (lots) more practice I think I will try a canvas.  I just love the look of this.

The 3 pieces of card stock that where used to make this card!

This is what it looked like before blending, I then went around the edge with black and blue.

I forgot to take a picture of the hills being done.  I took a torn piece of paper and used it like a stencil.  I then blended in greys and black.  Love how they came out.

Just another look at the hills and night sky.

These are the stamps used for my trees, and I took white paint for the stars (but I need a white gel pen)  I hope you give this a try lots of FUN, FUN !!!!!

Adorable

Good Morning,

What a wonderful, productive week-end, picked up the walls for my bathroom.  I can't wait for it to start coming together.  Later today I will be doing the ceiling so it will dry in time to lay the floor. But, in the mean time !!! I did this layout for a challenge at Turtle Soup , head over and check them out, a wonderful scrapbooking site!!!

my layout:

This is my grandson, helping his Grampy cut down and clean up a tree.

I wanted to use these cute little buttons for my layout, but did not like the color.

I used this mega-flake set to change their appearance. ( just love what this does to any item)

You first apply the glu,

You then put you mega-flake onto the glued part.

After all glu is covered with mega-flake, you sand (sanding pad comes with kit) for a shiny look.  It is very hard to see the transformation in these buttons, but it is beautiful!!!

I applied distressed ink to the lace and flowers.

I also added gems to the center of the flowers, and ran jute cord from flower to flower.

supplies:
mulberry paper flowers, MME paper, buttons, mega-flake, gems, jute cord, ribbon

Hi,

I thought I should post these cards before my mini vacation to the coast.  They have a mini crop at Turtle Soup for World Card Making Day, if you would like to play along go here .  Here are some cards that I entered into the crop:

Memories

I saw this corner fold card on pinterest and just had to try.

A different angle, so you can see how this card looks closed.

This is where you splice the corner.

And then just fold, so easy!!

I inked all the edges.

Cut all my piece's, stamped them, then added to card.

I placed 3 silver brads in the lower corner.

Happy Birthday

Just love this masculine card.  This card was made with Kraft paper.

Loved this cute silver button I found in my stash.

I embossed then inked the raised part.

I crimped a stripe of paper for the front of my card.

card#3

Celebrate

This card has my homemade recycled flower.

I made the flower with a used dryer sheet.  I placed on card stock then ran thru my big kick.

Spritzed with water and glimmer mist for color.

My finished flower.

my 4rth and final card.. for now
