Go for it

What a Beautiful, yet very cold day......

I worked on a canvas this weekend for a challenge at  Soul Scrappers if you would like to play along here is the Link for a chance to win this wonderful prize:

here is the prize you are playing for : )

Now with all that being said here is the canvas I submitted for this challenge...

Go for it!!!!

I needed a little something, something on a wall in my home, and this is what I made.

I put gesso onto my canvas and let dry......

I then cut stripes of cardstock, distressed the ends and used mod podge to adhere to my canvas, and then let dry.....

I then used a variety of acrylic paint, perfect pearls, distress paint and Tattered Angels mists, gelato's, lots of water misting and then let dry....................

I took cotton twine and mod podged it into a circle, ( around and around until I got the shape I wanted then I let dry.........................lol

I then arranged my circle and buttons for my next step!!!!!!! ( yeah no drying time)

I used FlitterGlu and put mega-flakes (kit form indigoblu) onto my circle..

I used Embossing Powder (Pirate Gold) on my buttons.... what a wonderful look.

I also added some of the same embossing powder onto my circle for more gold affect..

supplies used:
Acrylic Paint, Distress Paint, Tattered Angels mists, Perfect Pearls, Stamp-n-Stuff embossing powder, buttons, canvas, twine, mega-flakes, metal sentiment, gelato's

Hope you enjoyed this project, it was a lot of fun!!!!!!!!!! See you soon...
