Birthday Wishes

Hi, I hope you all are having a great day!!  I love relaxing and working on crafts, at this moment I have so much going on.  LOL, remodeling my bathroom, making an afghan and working on cards. Along with every day things and oh yeah watching my 2 1/2 year old grandson. : )

Here is my first card:

A very simple card,

This is my stamped image.

I colored with water color pencils, blended with my water brush. After dried I misted with this beautiful glimmer mist.

I touched up with some liquid pearls.

and my 2nd card:

This is not a very good picture of this card.  But it is a very soft blue-green.

I used this die to cut my butterfly out of glitter paper.

A closer look at the punched paper I placed on my card.

Just love these dew drops,  they add that special something to anything they are placed on.

I also used glitter twine for my card!!!

Happy Birthday

My Mom is hitting a milestone birthday!!!!  So, I made her this card and entered it into a challenge at Soul Scrappers, for their 6th Birthday Bash. (check them out for some fun challenges and great prizes)

I just love this card , the pink is so soft.  I added a lot of different embellies to the card. For my MOM, she is one special lady.

I hand cut the balloons, then applied  white distressed ink .  I felt this gave the balloons the look of light shining on one side.

I put these three pieces of paper together with pink gem brads. As you can see, I embossed the top piece.

Here you can see the gem in the corner. Along with the finished balloons.

I mixed embossing powder with perfect pearls for a softer pink, for my sentiment.

Then... I put together (the old way), with eyelets.

Another look at my card.

MoM

Well if it was not for all the snow outside, it was a beautiful Day !!!

I made this card with the new mix-n-match embossing set from Anna Griffin.  I just love this set, but have so much to experiment with and learn.  So here is the first card that I made with this set,

Happy Birthday to you !

I made this for my Mom, hope she likes it...

This is the embossing folder I used, then I fussy cut and made this cute frame.  Then I choose this sentiment to emboss and place the frame around it.

I sprayed with perfect pearls mist.

This is the quote I picked for the inside, from these Fiskars quote stamps (just love them all).

supplies used:
Cardstock
Perfect Pearls Mist
Jolee's 3-d Stickers

Happy Birthday

Good Morning,

I thought I would get this posted before I head out for the day!!! Here is a Card that I submitted to Turtle Soup for their Tuesday Tools, Tips & Technique Challenges  if you would like to play go here , and this is my Card:

Happy Birthday

The challenge was to use tin foil fun, fun!!!  I decided to emboss and then heat emboss my tin foil.

This is the finished card, I still want to play around more with the tin foil, it gives a great look .

I took this piece of tin foil and rolled my brayer over the top to make nice and flat.

Then, I took this perfect medium (or versa mark, what ever you may have) and stamped it to the  top inside of my folder.

Embossed it, then heat embossed with Ranger cornflower blue embossing powder.  Looks much better in real life not in photo. I LOVE IT !!!!

I then sprayed with adhesive and applied to this cardstock.

And here it is, now it can be used on anything.......

Supplies used:
Cardstock
MME pp
Kraft paper (card base)
Ribbon
Puffy sticker for sentiment
Tin foil
Ranger embossing powder Cornflower Blue

Bye for now,,
