MY LOVE !!!!!

Awe... life back to normal, after all the wonderful festivities that have been going on.  My Grandson and I are now just enjoying time creating and learning.  I made this layout for a challenge over at Soul Scrappers check them out for some great challenges and wonderful prizes.



My layout........ This is my Handsome Hubby, on one of our trip's out of the state to visit friends.  We always have so much fun traveling together. Can't wait for this coming summer, we have a new camper to go all over the State, yeah!!!!

I had fun doing this page,

 

I choose to hand sew this border, very time consuming BUT well worth it.

 

I then distressed the edge, I do love this look (I know, I know, I do this a lot).

 

Taped my stencil on and applied this jet black ink.

 

I then choose to sand, I think it gives the page a more masculine feel. I then noticed that I had frayed my sewing. Oh, and I like it, so I sanded the top of the sewn area.

 

The tool I used to make my banner..

 

I wanted to give this banner a more used look.  I first sprayed the pieces with water and crumbled up.  I then opened carefully, allowed them to dry.  Finally I misted with Perfect Pearls. LOVE!!!

 

After banner was dry, I ran some twine threw the top and glued to my layout.

 

Small added touch to "MY" tag.
